Our Story
FROM A FEW FAMILIES TO A CHURCH FAMILY.
19 May 2013
Pastors Sajan and Jessy began meeting with a few families in their homes weekly, nurturing a vision for a church that would transform lives in Hastings.
7 July 2013
The growing congregation moved into a larger facility to accommodate the growth God was bringing — a sign of things to come.
Today
Revive is a vibrant, multi-ethnic, multi-generational church made up of people from different backgrounds, socio-economic situations and walks of life — all united in Jesus.
The heart of the church is to create a platform where people can encounter God, flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and hear the Gospel of mercy, love and salvation through Jesus Christ, preached unashamedly.

MEET OUR PASTORS
Sajan Easow
Senior Pastor & Founder
Sajan emigrated from India to New Zealand in 2003. After years in accountancy and church leadership, he and Jessy planted Revive Church in 2013. He carries a heart to see people encounter the freedom and compassion of Jesus.
Jessy Sajan
Senior Pastor & Founder
Jessy came to New Zealand from India in 2003 and worked as a high school Mathematics teacher while serving in church leadership. Her sensitivity to God and love for people shapes the culture of Revive.
Roger Sales
Pastor
Roger serves alongside Sajan and Jessy in pastoral leadership, bringing care, wisdom and a heart for the community of Revive Church.
Pastors Sajan & Jessy
Sajan and Jessy emigrated from India to New Zealand in 2003. While continuing their careers in accountancy and teaching, they served in various church leadership positions before sensing a clear call to plant Revive Church in 2013.
They have a strong love and sensitivity towards God, and their desire is to see people come into a place of freedom in Christ and encounter His compassion. Their life is full of stories and adventures in the Spirit and faith. They have been married for 20 years and have two daughters.
